Devotion
The living master.
Not a claim of authority — just an honest account of who I follow, and why.
There have been masters throughout history — Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Ramana Maharshi, and many more — each of them giving exactly what was appropriate for the people and the age they lived in. I don’t discount any of them.
But for me, the living master is Sadhguru. I hold on to that, plainly.
What makes it different for me isn’t devotion for its own sake — it’s that his teachings aren’t drawn from scripture or textbooks. They come from a strikingly deep, direct understanding of the human system: the physiology of the body, and how it can be used and brought into balance to help another human being become their best.
The teachers I point you toward — the ones trained through Isha Gurukula — aren’t separate from this. In the practices they teach, they’re representing him. That’s not a metaphor to them. It’s how they experience it.
